IRISH WIND ENERGY ASSOCIATION’S SAFETY AWARD FOR INNOVATION

The Irish Wind Energy Association (IWEA) presented its inaugural safety innovation award to Seamus Hampson, EHS Manager with Siemens Gamesa, at its recent health and safety conference in Co. Laois.

Seamus Hampson, EHS Manager with Siemens Ltd, was presented with the inaugural safety innovation award from David Connolly, CEO of IWEA at the conference in the Heritage Hotel Killenard, Co. Laois.

Sponsored by Green Tech Skillnet, the IWEA’s Safety Innovation Award has been launched in recognition of an innovative programme, policy, tool or project that demonstrates a proven accomplishment in the area of health and safety for the wind energy sector. This is the first year of the IWEA award to highlight innovation in the industry.
