DLR ROLLS OUT €770M Capital Programme

Up to €770m will be provided by Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council under its latest Capital Expenditure Programme (2019-2021), to deliver infrastructural and housing projects of strategic importance to the county.

Out of the total spend of €770m, an estimated €400m will be incurred between 2019 and 2021. This funding will be sourced from a variety of sources including S48 & S49 contributions, grants, other third party sources, in addition to the council’s own funds and borrowings.

Outlining the progress of the Capital Programme 2019-2021, DLR Chief Executive, Philomena Poole, said that the infrastructure projects undertaken in this plan will ensure the strong future development of the county as an attractive place to live, work and visit.
