The Irish Green Building Council’s (IGBC) annual conference on residential buildings will take place on Friday 25 November at the Gibson Hotel, Dublin, and follows the launch of the ‘Building a Zero Carbon Ireland’ roadmap published in October.

Speakers will discuss how some of the key recommendations to halve our sector emissions by 2030 can be implemented in the residential sector. This will be followed by panel discussions on delivering on compact growth and low residential developments.  

The IGBC conference will also see the launch of Version 3 of the Home Performance Index (HPI). The HPI is Ireland’s national certification system for quality and sustainable residential development. Version 3 is fully aligned with the EU Taxonomy for sustainable activities.
